About our Artist John Sajem:Johnny sold his first cartoon to the Saturday Evening Post in 1963.
He started his own company,with partner Martin Broadwell, Resources For Education and Management in 1968, producing and distributing management and supervisory training programs (all cartoons) and successfully marketing them worldwide.
In 1985, he started a screen printing company, Prints Charming, Inc., specializing in creating and printing custom T-shirt and sportswear designs.
He created “Seaweed,” a syndicated comic strip teeming with delightful undersea characters. “Seaweed” is the first of its kind.
Collaborating with Mort Walker (creator of Beetle Bailey and numerous
other great comic strips) he created the internationally syndicated comic strip “The Evermores.”
He also wrote and drew the “Winston” comic strip, collaborating with writer
Jim Burnett. This comic is also internationally syndicated.
Johnny has also been a contributing gag writer for “Donald Duck,” “The Muppets,” “Nancy,” and “Mudpie.”
He has illustrated eight children's books and several management training books.
Currently, he is cartoonist for the official Atlanta Braves publication, “Choptalk.”
